REHOBOTH BEACH - Geraldine L. Parker of Rehoboth Beach died Friday, July 6, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was 82.
Mrs. Parker was born on May 31, 1925, in Oklahoma City, daughter of the late Roy and Grace Lillian (Kent) Parker.
She moved to Rehoboth Beach 23 years ago with her husband from Woodbury, N.J.
She was employed as a seamstress in a dress manufacturing factory.
She enjoyed antiquing. Mrs. Parker was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at the Paulesboro, N.J., Lodge.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Wiliam E. Parker; two sons, Kevin G. Parker and Thomas Hubler, both of Laurel; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Parker of Mantua, N.J.; a brother, James Miller of Winona, N.J; a granddaughter, Diane E. Parker; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William W. Parker in 2002.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, with Rev. Fred Duncan officiating.
Burial will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
