DOVER - George L. Rawls, of Dover, passed away on Aug. 28, 2011, at Silver Lake Center, Dover. Born on April 27, 1939, he was the son of the late George Gibbs and Elizabeth I. Rawls. He was 72. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division St., Dover, where friends may visit two hours prior to the service.
