Gail Ann Johnson, 57

DOVER - Gail Ann Johnson, of Dover, on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at Bayhealth-Medical Center, Dover, left us suddenly to be in the arms of the Lord where she will remain in the hearts of those she touched. Her age was 57. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late William Johnson and Elizabeth Dilley Johnson of Hagerstown, Md. Gail had been a dedicated mother and grandmother and enjoyed those times spent with family and friends. She especially enjoyed shopping and going out to eat with her daughter and visiting with her son and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her and especially the friends from Connections, KCC and PSI. Along with her mother, Gail is survived by two children, a daughter, Elizabeth Cole of Felton, and son, Gary Sparks Jr. of Wyoming; three brothers, William Johnson of Hagerstown, Kenny Johnson of Baltimore, and John Johnson of Glen Burnie, Md.; three sisters, Katherine Gendimenico of Essex, Md., Venida Gunzelman of Bowie, and Ruby Baer of Pasadena, Md.; and four grandchildren, Dillon Cole of Felton, Renee Sparks of Wyoming, Spencer Aine Sparks of Wyoming, and Rachael Sparks of Dover. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and again at 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
