Frederick Gilbert DeRogatis, 70
REHOBOTH BEACH - Frederick Gilbert DeRogatis of Rehoboth Beach died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 70.
Mr. DeRogatis was born Sept. 23, 1936, in Philadelphia, son of the late Fred and Stella (Kowal) DeRogatis.
He was employed at American General Finance for 35 years before retiring in 1999 as regional manager.
Mr. DeRogatis was an avid gardener and he loved his family. He served in the National Guard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Marion (Cassise) DeRogatis; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Dana DeRogatis and John Carlano of Philadelphia and Gina and Mohammad Hadour of London, England; and three sisters, Mary Ann Morano of Medford, N.J., Betty Jane Osborn of Springfield, Pa. and Leanora Dezenhall of Cherry Hill, N.J.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes.
Burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163.
