DOVER - Frank Divita, Sr. passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital.
Mr. Divita was born October 7, 1938 in Smithers, W.Va. to the late Benny and Mary Divita.
Frank is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Prior to his retirement, he managed Steele's Pharmacy in Dover. He was a member of the American Legion Walter L. Fox Post #2, Del Vets Post #2, and the Dover Elks Lodge.
In addition to his parents; he was also preceded in death by his wife, Wanda in 2013; and his son, Benny Divita, II in 2008.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Ludeman and her husband John of Leesburg, Va.; son, Frank Divita, Jr. and his wife Janet of Springfield, Va.; grandchildren, Stephanie Vargas, Dustin Ludeman, Sarah and Amanda Divita, Becket and Deklyn Divita; and great grandchildren, Benjamin and Elliot Vargas.
Due to concerns regarding COVID19, Funeral Services will be private. At a later date, the family will host a Celebration of Life event for Frank.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Food Bank of Delaware, 1040 Mattlind Way, Milford, DE 19963.
