Gates, 93, passed away on Sept. 3, 2018 at University Of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton, Easton, Md.A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 at St. Luke's U. M. C. located at 100 S. 5th Ave. Denton, MD 21629 to begin at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. A public visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 14, 2018 at Bennie Smith Funeral Home located at 426 E. Dover St. Easton, MD 21601 from 5 to 7 p.m.
