Goldsboro - Frances Brown passed from our presence Sunday, May 13, 2018. She closed her eyes in this world and instantly opened her eyes in eternity, kissed the face of Jesus and is now dancing at the feet of our Savior; something she had spoken about many times. Fran was diagnosed with a form of ovarian cancer 3 years ago, a disease that had taken her body but not her spirit. She praised God and spread His love and grace to everyone she had the pleasure of meeting. Fran's love was shared with each person she met and because of this her life will never be forgotten. Fran worked in the Caroline County School System, was an active member of her church, taught Sunday School and loved singing in the church choir. Fran loved people and people loved her back. Fran is survived by her loving husband of 26 years Ron; mother Marion Swindell of Goldsboro; sons, Joseph and his wife Sonya of N.J. and David of Savannah, Ga. and one daughter, Hyo Joo of N.Y.; four Godchildren Serena, Melissa, Laura and Tommy; and many friends. The family will receive friends at her home church, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, located at 251 St. Paul Road, Ingleside, Md. with a visitation on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a celebration of her life at 12:00p.m. A reception will follow at the Ingleside Community Center. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Compass Regional Hospice at 160 Coursvall Drive, Centreville, Maryland 21617.
