SUDLERSVILLE, MD - Florence Vivian "Patsy" Wilson passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Chester River Manor in Chestertown, MD.
Patsy was born Sept. 11, 1940 in Millington, MD the daughter of the late James Tilden Powell and Florence Emma "Wallace" Powell. She attended Galena High School and on Dec. 8, 1973 she married the late Ralph Wilson. Patsy worked for Loumar Manufacturing Co. in Dover, DE which later became East Wind, as a sewing machine operator. In 1988 she started "Patsy's Home Care" providing assistance to elderly people in the area. Patsy was a 30 year member of the Ladies Auxillary for the Millington Vol. Fire Co. and she was also a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going to Pick'en and Grin'en on Thursday nights at the Senior Center and spending time with her great grandson, Killian.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wilson; three brothers, James, Kenny and Louis Powell; two sisters, Becky Flowers and Peggy Ellsworth.
She is survived by her son, James Elwood Walls of Baltimore, MD; daughter, Vicky Lynn Redman of Worton, MD; three grandchildren, Lindsay O'Hanlon, Caleb Marvel, Brad Walls; and one great grandchild, Killian O'Hanlon; and a special friend, David Vandermark.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 11am - 1pm at Fellows Family Funeral Home 370 Cypress St. Millington, MD. Services will be held at 1pm. Interment will follow the service in Crumpton cemetery in Crumpton, MD.
