Florence Edna Eash, aunt of Mary Kathryn Warnick of Milford, Del., passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 at her home in Harrodsburg, Ky. Born March 14, 1925 in Midland, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Levi J. and Fannie (Bontrager) Eash. She attended Leo School in Leo, Ind., was a self-employed housekeeper and care giver, enjoyed making cards to send to family and friends and was a member of the Tressler Mennonite Church in Greenwood, Del.
Other survivors include: one sister, Kathryn Eash of Harrodsburg, Ky.; two sisters-in-law, Erma Eash of Sturgis, Mich. and Maxine Eash of Buckhorn, Ky.; fourteen nieces and nephews and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, Florence was preceded in death by three sisters, Sue Warnick, Anna Eash and Mary Eash; five brothers, John Eash, Floyd Eash, Lloyd Eash, Dale Eash and Jesse Eash.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Sims Funeral Services in Harrodsburg by Pastor Calvin Eash. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
Pallbearers are David Stoltzfus, Samuel Short, Dan Stoltzfus, Chris Logan, Gerry Collett, and Calvin Eash.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Galilean Children's Home, PO Box 880 Liberty, KY 42530, Bethel Camp, 2773 Bethel Church Road, Clayhole, KY 41317 or to Heritage Hospice, PO Box 1213, Danville, KY 40423.
