Flora B. McLeod, 77

TOWNSEND - Flora B. McLeod, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, in Christiana Hospital, Newark. She was 77. She was born and raised in the Florida panhandle region. In her earlier years, she owned and operated a retail convenience store. She enjoyed drawing, painting, reading, and fishing. Mrs. McLeod was a member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Hovey. She is survived by two sons, Mike Hovey, and Carl Hovey, of Ore.; two daughters, Cecelia Crosby, of Calif., and Lisa Schauer and her husband Richard, of Townsend, with whom she lived; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services and burial will be private. Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are by Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Smyrna.
