Event planning business holds grand opening in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN — Sisters Kayla Young and Madyson Ellsworth, owners of The Party Girls LLC, celebrated the grand opening of their first event planning storefront on Feb. 20 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The sisters showcased their wide range of event rental inventory, from decor, fabrics, furniture and more in their new storefront at 600 N Broad St., Suite 21.

Ms. Young, who has a degree in hospitality, and Ms. Ellsworth, with a background in wedding makeup artistry, first launched their venture in August 2022, combining their knowledge of the industry and creativity to offer event planning services while working out of their homes.

Their business initially focused on event planning and included the rental of two large white bounce houses for weddings and children’s birthday parties.

Since its inception, they have expanded to offer a variety of services for events of all kinds. Customers can either rent items from their inventory or hire the sisters to manage and service their events.

“We really just take the client’s vision and bring it to life,” said Ms. Young.

The sisters aim to continue growing their business and serving the community with personalized event planning and rental services for all types of occasions.
