Evelyn Caroline Clark, 80
SUDLERSVILLE, Md. - Evelyn C. Clark, of Sudlersville, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, in the Chester River Hospital Center, Chestertown. She was 80.
Born in New Jersey, Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Neal and Evelyn (Harris) Sharp.
She was a homemaker who loved to travel, enjoying 48 states as well as Mexico and Canada.
Mrs. Clark loved the pine forests of New Jersey and the beautiful wilderness of Alaska.
She also enjoyed dancing, reading and doing puzzles.
Mrs. Clark was a former member of the Sudlersville Homemakers; Asbury United Methodist Church, Riverton, N.J.; and the W.S.C.S of the Calvary-Asbury United Methodist Church, Sudlersville.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sons, Elwood "Snapper" Clark, Derr Clark and Phillip Clark.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John W. Clark; a daughter, Beverly Clark of Sudlersville; a son, Jack Clark of Barclay; a brother, Charles Sharp of Rochester, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Fellows Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress St., Millington, where friends and family may call after noon.
