DOVER - Eugene Steven Hall passed away, Sunday, June 12, 2022. Mr. Hall was born September 14, 1953, in Urbana, Illinois to Ray Hall and the late Kathlyn Warren Hall.
During his career, "Steve" found many ways to help serve his community. He was a former manager of Kirby and Holloway's in Dover. While attending Del Tech, he was recruited by Draper-King Cole for computer programming. He was a regional sales manager and later retired from Murry's Steaks. Most recently, he was co-owner/manager of Hall's Family Restaurant in Camden until he retired in 2020. Mr. Hall said he was trained to be a "country cook," and he was a great one.
Steve was a member of the Roby United Methodist Church in Leipsic, as well as a member of the Delaware Choral Society. He found great joy in cheering on his children and then his grandchildren in their scholastic, sporting, and musical endeavors. He had a great wit and sense of humor and was also a man of faith. He enjoyed travel, music, attending concerts, Broadway and touring musicals, reading, watching his favorite stories and movies, video gaming, model railroading, and classic cars. Steve also liked to expand musically, learning new instruments, and playing tunes with his wife, Mollie.
In addition to his mother; he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Koehler Hall.
He is survived by his wife of seven years, Mary Irene "Mollie" Raley-Hall of Dover; son, Ray Hall and his wife Jigie of Dover; daughter, Lena Hall of Bowers Beach; brothers, Jeff Hall and his wife Alex, Tom Hall and his wife Debbie and David Hall and his wife Nancy all of Dover; grandchildren, Jasmin, Nicholas and Alexander Hall all of Dover and Vincent Zeno of Bowers Beach; as well as several nieces and nephews and their children.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening and from 12-1 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Delaware American Heart Association, 131 Continental Drive, Suite 407, Newark, DE 19713
