Ernest L. 'Lee' Dorey, 77 MILLSBORO - Ernest L. "Lee" Dorey, age 77, of Millsboro, passed away Friday, April 2, 2010, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born in Millsboro son of the late, George William Dorey and Ruth (Bowden) Dorey. He worked at several Acme Markets for 32 years and 10 months, retiring in 1982. He then farmed, raised hogs & cows, and did carpentry work. He belonged to McDonald's Coffee Club in Millsboro. He attended Hickory Hill Church. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Coleta M. Dorey; children, June M. Edwards and her husband David, Joyce M. Dukes and her husband Arthur R. Dukes, Jr, Dave W. Dorey and his wife Tammy; his siblings, Hazel M. Baker, Ralph W. Dorey and his wife Josephine and J. Reese Dorey and his wife Esther; eight grandchildren; four step grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and his pet Dog, Charlie. A funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, April 8, at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher Street, Frankford, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Burial will be in Carey's Cemetery in Millsboro.
