FELTON - Eric Allen Brooks passed away Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013. Eric was a graduate of Smyrna High School. He was an avid history buff and former young marine. Eric is survived by his mother, Diana K. Brooks of Felton; sister, Sydney Brooks; and a brother, Paul Brooks both of home; a close friend, Thomas Meranski of Milford; maternal grandmother, Helen Monroe of Christianburg, Va.; paternal grandparents, Linda and Paul Brooks of Camden; his father, Paul Brooks and his wife Jennifer; and an extended family of aunts, uncles and friends. Service will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013 at the Calvary Assembly of God, 1141 E. Lebanon Rd., Dover. Viewing will be from 2 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help with expenses to Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE 19934.
