Elsie Mae McConnell

Viola - Elsie Mae McConnell passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover.
Elsie was born to the late, Roy and Mazzie (Hunt) Fitzgerald, in Charlottesville, Va., on June 12, 1944. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred in 2013.
Elsie enjoyed traveling, shopping, going to the Modern Maturity Center, and visiting with friends.
Elsie is survived by her three sons and daughter-in-laws, Frank and Wanda, Randall and Karen and Shawn; her mother-in-law, Mary McConnell, of Volant, Pa.; three grandchildren, Ryan, Jennifer and Shawn; and a great-granddaughter, Olivia. She is also survived her siblings, Jack Fitzgerald and Cathy Sipe and her husband, Wilmer, both of Charlottesville, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Memorial Service with Burial in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro will be held at a later date.
