Ella Ann Jump

HARRINGTON - Ella Ann Jump, 78, of Harrington, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at Life Care Nursing Home, Seaford. Born Jan. 9, 1932, in Harrington, she was the daughter of the late Pauline Hall and William Lord. She was active in her church. She was a homemaker and she loved baking. Christmas and Easter were her favorite times of sharing. Her family was the most important thing to her. In addition to her parents, two brothers and one sister, Mrs. Jump was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Harold Jump Sr. Mrs. Jump is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Lisa Jump of Pleasant Plain, Ohio; four granddaughters, Lori Ann Jump of Shawnee, Okla., and Heather Johnson of Dover, Jennifer Wells of Sabina, Ohio, and Janet Sandstrom, presently in Managua, Nicaragua; one brother, Robert Lord of Harrington; four sisters, Evelyn Layton of Harrington, Laura Betts of Greenwood, Mary Pitlick of Harrington, and Audrey Zietler of Harrington; six great-grandchildren, Cameron, Warren, Caroline, Grayson, Connor and Grant. Friends called on the family from 1 to 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington, where services were held at 2 p.m. Burial was in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
