GEORGETOWN - Elizabeth Edith Sunderland, a resident of Georgetown since 1994, coming from Grapeland, Texas, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. She was 70.
Elizabeth was born in Rochester, N.Y., daughter of the late Rudolf and Herta (Schmolka) Rabe.
She was a charge back-clerk for the Navy Exchange for 24 years until her retirement.
She was a member of the U.S. Wildlife Federation.
Elizabeth was an avid collector of teapots and miniature lighthouses, and also new the history of them.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, William Richard Sunderland; children, Kimberly Ann Riley of Burke, Va., and Jody Eileen Simone and her husband Joseph of Toms River, N.J.; and five grandchildren, Amber Simone, Shelby Simone, Murphy Riley, Taylor Riley and Casey Riley.
Services will be private.
