"Betty" Cubbage
FREDERICA - Elizabeth E. "Betty" Cubbage passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, after a short illness, at Bayhealth Kent General Campus in Dover, Delaware. Betty was born on May 17, 1938, daughter of late William and Kathryn (Edwards) Cubbage.
Betty worked for Medds Market in Little Heaven for many years. She was a life member of the Bowers Fire Hall Company Ladies Auxiliary where she held many offices, as well as, with the town of Bowers.
Betty is survived by two sisters, Edna Masten (Bob) of Woodside, and Dorothy Galipo of Frederica; one brother, James Cubbage of Frederica; one daughter, Kathy Cubbage of Frederica; five grandchildren, January Sloan of Florida, Rachel Killen of Smyrna, Michael Killen of Dover, and Hayden Rendfrey of Wilmington; one great grandchild, Madison Wright of Florida; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Bowers Fire Hall, 3285 Main Street, Frederica, DE. A time for visitation for family and Friends will begin at 4 p.m. through 6 p.m. Followed by Funeral services at 6 p.m. at same location. Interment will be held privately.
