DOVER - Eliza A. James passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Mrs. James was born Jan. 5, 1919 in Harrington, to the late Albert and Ethel Ammerman. She had worked for Department of Motor Vehicle for 10 years. Mrs. James enjoyed traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William James, in 1978. She is survived by cousins, Pat and Don Trovinger, of Ocean Pines, Md.; and their son, Andrew. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Lakeside Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to First State Animal Shelter and SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE, 19936; or Robbins Hose Company, 103 S.
