Edna M. 'Sugar' Killen, 83
CAMDEN - Edna M. "Sugar" Killen, of Camden, passed away Monday, March 3, 2008, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 83.
She was born on July 22, 1924, in Dover, to the late James and Edna Merrill Scott.
Edna and Buddy spent many years traveling to their winter home in Florida.
Edna enjoyed doting over her children and grandchildren and making dinners for the whole family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Linwood "Buddy" Killen; sister, Nora "Pee Wee" Downs; and a daughter-in-law, Fay Killen.
She is survived by son, Ronald L. Killen of Willow Grove; son, Linwood Killen Jr. of Wyoming; daughter and her husband, Lillian M. and Rex Killen-Holderbaum of Willow Grove; brother, Jim Scott of Minnesota; granddaughter and her husband, Shannon and Ron McCarty of Felton; granddaughter and her husband, Christina and Sal Esposito of Magnolia; grandson, Nicholas Killen of Denton, Md.; grandson and his wife, Scott and Amy Killen of Newark; grandson, Eyvind Marker of Willow Grove; grandson, Bob Marker of Willow Grove; and nine great-grandchildren.
Remembrance services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior.
The Rev. Milton Kemp will officiate.
Burial will be at the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.
