Edna M. Argo, 88 MILFORD - Edna M. Argo, of Milford, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 88. Mrs. Argo was born July 14, 1919, in Smithville, Md., daughter of the late William E. and Sadie (Lare) Favinger. She was a homemaker who loved cooking and gardening. Mrs. Argo was a devoted member of the Avenue United Methodist Church, Milford, where she was also a member of the Martha Circle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Herman Argo, in 1997; a brother, Walter Pete Favinger; and a sister, Mary Gates. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David G. and Caroline Argo of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy J. and Douglas H. Kutz of Parksley, Va.; a brother, Earl W. Favinger of Wilmington; a sister, Betty F. Sharp of Milford; three grandchildren, Aislinn Lewis and her husband David of Holden, Mass., Chelsea R. Argo of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Kyle D. Argo of Scottsdale; and seven nieces and nephews. Services were Saturday at Avenue United Methodist Church, Milford. Burial was in Milford Community Cemetery. Instead of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Avenue United Methodist Church, Bell Choir, 20 N. Church St., Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements handled by Rogers Funeral Home, Milford.
