Earl E. Young Sr., 72 SMYRNA - Earl E. Young Sr., of Smyrna, passed away on June 20, 2010 at his home. He was 72. He was born in Berwick, Pa., and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a 30 year employee of Kraft Foods, Dover, retiring in 1994. He is survived by his wife, Margaret E. Young; three children, Earl E. Young Jr. and wife Jill of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Robert A. Young, of New Castle, and Donna L. McGee and husband Michael of Dover; two grandchildren, Jon E. Young and Max S. Young; two step-grandchildren, Ashley E. McGee and Tyler McGee; three brothers, Edwin Young, Eckley Young and wife Linda, and Elvin Young and wife Jane; and two sisters, Eldora Williams and husband James, and Erma J. Young, all of Pennsylvania. Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday June 24 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 10 a.m. Burial will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to either, Delaware Hospice Inc., 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901; or to Townsend Freewill Baptist Church, 4519 S.
