Duane D. Faulkner

MILFORD - Duane D. Faulkner passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 at Milford Memorial Hospital. Mr. Faulkner was born Oct. 28, 2016 in Hurricane, W.Va., to Phyllis A. Thomas Faulkner and the late Lewis Kermit Faulkner. He was a Lt. in the Delaware Army National Guard. Mr. Faulkner graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Education and received his Master's Degree from Stephen F. Austin University, Texas. He taught locally in the Milford and Woodbridge School Districts, and in the public school districts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey , Texas, and Florida. Duane enjoyed fishing, athletics, and watching the Philadelphia Phillies. Mr. Faulkner is survived by his mother, Phyllis Faulkner, of Milford; brothers, Steven L. Faulkner and his wife, Gale, of Middletown, Craig T. Faulkner, of Milford, and Paul E. Faulkner and his wife, Annmarie E. Faulkner, of Lincoln. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 16, 2016 at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to JDRF, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
