HARRIETT'S BLUFF, Ga. - Douglas P. McPhee, 53, of Harriett's Bluff, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010. Doug was born March 18, 1957, in Milton, Mass., to Pauline R. McPhee and the late George A McPhee of Dover, Del. He was a 1975 graduate of Dover High School, 1979 graduate of University of Delaware, and completed is MBA degree at University of Illinois. He had been employed with Alexander Proudfoot out of Atlanta, as a Management Consultant, Teepak Inc., in Danville, Ill.,, as a Director of Quality Management for North America, CEO for L.M. Rabinowitz Manufacturing in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was Associate Broker with Tri City Century 21 in St. Mary's. He was a member of Union Lodge No. 7 AF&AM in Dover, Del., a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church in Brunswick, and was an avid golfer and boxer dog enthusiast. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jen McPhee of Harriett's Bluff; two daughters, Katie McPhee Humble of Carrollton, Texas and Colleen Pinto of Warner Robbins; son, Britton Douglas McPhee of Valdosta; two brothers Stephen McPhee of Newark, Del., and Jeffrey McPhee of Hampton, Va.; two sisters, Sheryl Smith of Gloucester, Mass., and Susan Shelor of Magnolia, Del.; eight nieces and nephews and his beloved pets. A memorial Mass was held on Tuesday, Nov. 30, in Brunswick.
