Douglas E. Dean

MAGNOLIA - Douglas E. Dean passed away suddenly, Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018 in Milford.
Doug was born Oct. 22, 1964 in Salisbury, Md. to Barbara Marker Dean and the late Edward H. Dean.
He excelled as a salesman for 25 years at Hickman Overhead Doors in Milford. Doug enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, tending to his vegetable and flower gardens. He also loved to grill and smoke a good piece of meat. Doug was a fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the "Baltimore" Colts. Being with his family was the most important thing in his life, including his extended family from Hickman. He loved animals and always had Boxer dogs.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by brother, Jeffrey Dean; and sister, Kathy Dean.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Dean of Dover; his high school sweetheart and wife of 31 years, Christine Foster Dean of Magnolia; sons, Jeffrey and Brad Dean both of Magnolia; brother, Christopher Dean (Colleen) of Harrington; nephew, Payton Dean; and niece, Erica Dean, and his beloved boxer, JJ.
Services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
