DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Douglas C. Willin of Daytona Beach passed into the hands of the Lord Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, in Halifax Memorial Hospital, Daytona. He was 57.
Originally from Bridgeville, Del., he lived many years in Daytona Beach, where he worked for the Saboungi Construction Co. of Ormond Beach.
Mr. Willin was an independent biker who loved Bike Week at Daytona, Sturgis and just being on his Harley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie (Blades) and Carroll E. Willin.
Mr. Willin is survived by his children, Bryan Willin of Seaford, Del., and Sara Willin of Orlando; a sister, Deborah Willin and family of Seaford; a brother, Stephen "Dutch" Willin of Cleveland, N.C.; a loving and special cousin, Mike Willin of Laurel, Del.; and a cousin, Cheryll Willin of Berkeley, Calif.
His family will miss his beautiful smile and loving soul.
A memorial will be at a later date in Daytona.
Services were handled by the Hannah Cremation Service of Daytona Beach.
