MILFORD - Dorothy P. Thomas of Milford, formerly of Milton, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, in Milford Center, Genesis Elder Care. She was 93.
Mrs. Thomas was born in Milton, daughter of the late Clarence A. and Lillie P. (Gray) Dickerson.
She was a bus driver with Easter Seals for many years and worked with Delaware Adolescent Pregnancy Center, Georgetown. She was a dietician with Beebe Medical Center, Lewes.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Milford, AARP, Milford, Milford Senior Center, where she taught ceramics and a former member of the Milton Senior Citizens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas; a stepson, Norman Thomas; and two brothers, Tyler G. Dickerson and Alfred C. Dickerson.
She is survived by two sisters, Thelma L. Stogner of Milford and Helen D. Clendaniel of Milton; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Marian Brewington and her children, Debbie Davis, Shirley Walls and Rick Sharp.
Services will be noon Tuesday in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call one hour earlier.
