Dorothy E.O. Johnson, 77

EASTON, Md. - Dorothy E.O. Johnson, of Easton, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, in her daughter's home in Greenwood. She was 77.

She was born on Dec. 14, 1930, in Easton, daughter of the late James and Pearl (Satchell) Ozman.

Dorothy owned and operated Dee Bee's Bakery in Easton from 1982-1992.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking and cooking. She also assisted with fundraisers for Talbot Mentors, Easton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Starling "Johnny" Johnson, and a son, John T. Johnson, in 1992.

She is survived by four children, Starlyn M. Adams of Greenwood, Del., Shawn L. Johnson of Oceanside, Calif., Shannon D. Johnson and Dale T. Johnson, both of Easton; a brother, Bill Ozman of Salisbury; a granddaughter, Brandy L. Savage of Greenwood; a grandson, Connor L. Johnson of Oceanside; and a great-grandson, Hunter A. Clark of Greenwood.

A memorial gathering will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday in Denton Wayside Church, 26993 Shore Highway, Denton, with the minister's message at 5:30 p.m.

Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Talbot Mentors or Delaware Hospice, 600 DuPont Highway, Suite 107, Georgetown, DE 19947.

Arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, Del.
