Dorothy Elaine "Dottie" (Camp) Foltz, 78

DOVER - Dorothy Elaine "Dottie" (Camp) Foltz of Dover died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006, in Stuart, Fla., from complications of Alzheimer"s. She was 78.

Mrs. Foltz was the seventh child of the late Edward and Caroline Camp of Darby, Pa.

She was a lifelong resident of Kent County.

Mrs. Foltz was a loving homemaker, mother and wife. She touched many lives and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She married Andrew Foltz of Dover July 30, 1949, and they were married for 57 years.

Mrs. Foltz had an infectious laugh, a love of the beach, gardening and was a talented painter. She leaves behind a sad, but grateful family.

She is survived by five children and their families, Penelope Ann Foltz of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Christopher Edward and Barbara Foltz of Clayton, Robert Clay and Patricia Foltz of Dover, Gregory Allen Foltz of Memphis, Tenn., and Andrew Scott and Adele Foltz of Dover; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson, Mary Katelyn Foltz, Caroline Lindsay Foltz, Alexander Clay Foltz, Shelby Rae Foltz, Jordan Gregory Foltz, Andrew Joseph Foltz and Erin Elizabeth Foltz; and two great-grandchildren, Owen Wright Johnson and Emily Elaine Johnson.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Michael J. Ambruso, Funeral Director, 1175 S. State St., Dover.
