Dorothy Campbell

Campbell, 83 CHESWOLD - Dorothy "Irene" Campbell passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Milford Center Nursing Home. Mrs. Campbell was born on October 22, 1931 daughter of the late Earl and Catherine (Conley) Thompson. She was a homemaker and a caregiver who took care of her parents as well as her own family. Her family was her life. In addition to her parents, she was, preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Thompson. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Harvey "Ed" Campbell children; Bill Campbell and his wife Kathy of Cheswold; Susan Jones and husband Bob of TX; Patricia Murphy of New Castle; Bryan Campbell and wife Sharon of Smyrna; 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, brothers Earl "Warren", Richard, Carlton, Douglas and Wayne Thompson. Service will be 1:00pm Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming, where a viewing will be from 11:00- 1:00. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.pippinfuneralhome.com
