Doris Mae Eaton, 70

RIDGELY, Md. - Doris Mae Eaton of Ridgely died Saturday, July 14, 2007, in Memorial Hospital of Easton. She was 70.

Mrs. Eaton was born May 4, 1937, in Easton, daughter of the late Rueben and Eva Tribbett Buckle.

She was a lifetime resident of Ridgely and a waitress for most of her life.

She waitressed for the former Blue Top Restaurant of Ridgely and more recently the Greensboro Restaurant. She was employed by the Caroline County School system working in the Lockerman Middle School Cafeteria, Denton, at the time of her death.

Mrs. Eaton enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and playing cards.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mervin Buckle, Benedict J. Buckle and Louis Buckle; and two sisters, Joyce Schuyler and Mary Buckle.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Pete Eaton; two sons, Robin Eaton Sr. and Pee Wee Eaton, both of Ridgely; two daughters, Connie Baker of Ridgely and Bonnie Eaton-Elliott of Reliance; two brothers, Leon Buckle of Ridgely and Boogie Buckle of Greensboro; a sister, Barbara Moore of Delmar; four grandchildren, Robin Eaton Jr., Lori Stafford, Rick Baker and Danielle Middleton; six great-grandchildren, Brandon Eaton, Alex Eaton, Ashlyn Stafford, Jalyn Stafford, J.T. Coultas and Brett Baker.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W Sunset Ave., Greensboro. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridgely Cemetery.
