Denton, MD - Doris M. Blades died Sat., Apr. 11, 2015, at the UMSMC at Easton. Born in Burrsville, Md. near Denton on Jan. 9, 1928, Mrs. Blades was the daughter of the late Charles Henry Butler, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Breeding Butler. Her husband, William (Bill) W. Blades, died May 15, 2011 and her son, W. Glenn Blades, died Feb. 3, 2013. Mrs. Blades had been a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and homemaker all of her life. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Arnold Butler, Paul Butler, and Woodrow Butler; and two sisters, Mildred Sharp and Marjorie Adams. Mrs. Blades is survived by her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Thomas Blades; two grandchildren, Connie Blades Randolph and her husband, David Randolph, Sr. of Norristown, Pa. and Allan Blades and his wife Diana Blades of West Deptford, N.J.; five great-grandchildren, Emma Blades, Gillian Blades, Darby Blades, David Randolph, and Morgan Randolph; two brothers, Charles H. Butler, Jr. of Greenwood, and Frank Butler of Lumberton, Texas; and two sisters, Ruthanna Crouch of LeRoy, Ill. and Eloise Luff of Greenwood. Funeral services will be 2 P.M. on Sun., Apr. 19th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street in Denton where friends may call from 1 until 2 before the service. The interment will follow in the Denton Cemetery, 28465 Meeting House Road in Denton.
