DAGSBORO - Doris A. Donovan, passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was 66. She was born in Selbyville, daughter of the late Orville and Beatrice (Sullivan) Lathbury. Doris owned and operated a cleaning service for 15 years before having to retire, due to health issues. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Orville C. Lathbury Jr; her sisters, Gladys Shockley, and Louise Burton. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Thomas L. Donovan; daughter, Theresa Ann Donovan; two brothers, John and Robert Lathbury; granddaughter, Felica Nicole Donovan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21805. Arrangements by Melson Funeral Services of Frankford.
