Donna Lee Robinson, 70
FELTON - Donna Lee Robinson passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Louise and Lester Blades, Sr.
Donna retired from the Delaware Department of Transportation where she worked in the Division of Planning. She was known around the office for her many costumes she would wear during holidays. She was also a member of the Felton Fire Ladies Auxillary, and the Frederica Senior Center.
A breast cancer survivor, Donna lived life to the fullest each day. She was a goofy, energic lady, who loved to eat and to travel, and was up for any adventure. Donna was generous, giving, kind, and easy going. She was a huge Disney enthusiast. The only thing she loved more than being a Mother was being a Grandmother. She attended almost all of the grandchildren's activities from sporting events, field trips, to award ceremonies. She will be dearly missed.
Donna is survived by her children, Angela Gott, Brian Robinson (Tricia), and Eric Robinson (Kimberly); grandchildren, Kyle Gott, Trevor Gott, William Robinson, Wesley Robinson, Justice Robinson, and Catherine Robinson; brother, Lester Blades, Jr. (Mary Jean); nephews, Thomas Blades and Andrew Blades.
A service to celebrate Donna's life will be today Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, at 12 p.m. A visitation for family and friends will start at 10 a.m. with internment following at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
Arrangements are by the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home Inc., Harrington. Visit us at www.melvinfuneralhome.com to send flowers or online condolences to the family.
