Donna Gail Thomas

SEAFORD - Donna Gail Thomas, of Seaford, passed away Thurs., March 24, 2011, in Arizona, while visiting with family and friends. She was 57. Donna was born in Memphis, Tenn., daughter of the late John D. and Geraldine (Cole) Cox. She was a Certified Pharmacy Technician with Community Pharmacy in Salisbury, Md. She was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church of God in Laurel. Donna enjoyed cooking and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Alfred H. 'Butch' Thomas, IV; a daughter, Brandi Massey, of Millsboro; son, Buddy Thomas and wife Tracy, of Seaford; a sister, Diane Schneck, of California; and five grandchildren, whom she adored, Kathleen Nicole Thomas, Alexis Nicole Thomas, Brielynn Paige Massey, Jonathan Douglas Massey and Nicolette Renee Thomas. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tues., April 5, 2011, in the Chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Burial will be private. Flowers are accepted, or contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 163, Salisbury, MD. 21803 or American Heart Association, PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL, 60693.
