Donald Hopkins born in Millsboro on April 29, 1936; departed this life on July 15, 2018. He was preceded in death by his son, Kim Harmon; brothers, Paul Hopkins, Harrison Hopkins, and Charles Hopkins, Jr.; sisters, Cathirine Davis, Mary Williams, Ruth Hall, Joyce Rickards, and Grace Hopkins.
Donald leaves to cherish his memories wife, Mableleen; two children, Valerie Hopkins and Ronniere Robinson; one sister, Rachel Powell; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He also leaves behind special friends, Elton Hopkins, George Bishop, Matt Gibbs and niece, Barbara Scott.
Service of celebration will be held 12 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2018 at St. John 2nd Baptist Church, 26602 Mount Joy Rd, Millsboro, DE 19976. Viewing from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.; with formal home going services to follow. Interment in Union Cemetery.
