MILFORD - Dianne B. Barnard passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, in her home. She was born on March 2, 1947 in Milford, and is survived by her husband, William P. Barnard, of 46 years; son, Michael W. Barnard; daughter, Michelle L. Wright; and grandchildren, Kyleigh Wright, Paige Barnard, Jared Wright and Brandon Wright; a brother, Steven H. Billings and wife, Annette; a sister, Holly S. Giles and husband, Gary. Her parents, Hershel and Dorothy Billings, preceded her in death. She was a loving wife and mother, but excelled at being "Nana" to her four grandchildren, whom she adored. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Suppiah and his staff, the professional staff at Helen Graham Cancer Center and to the Radiology Care Unit for their kindness and compassion given to our Wife, Mother and Nana. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016 in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front Street, Milford. The family request donations be made to the Christiana Radiology Care Unit Christiana, 4755 Ogletown-Stanton Road, Newark, DE 19718.
