Diane M. Freck, 62

NORTH PORT, FL - Diane M. Freck, formerly of Dover, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009, in her home with family. She was 62. She was born March 26, 1947 in Easton, Md., to the late Allmon and Mildred Fontain Hamilton. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. She was retired from the Capital School District and worked in the cafeterias. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret "Peggy" Butler. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Richard Freck of North Port, Fla.; daughter, Teresa Robinson of Denton, Md.; son, Richard Freck of North Port, Fla.; brothers, Ronald Hamilton of Denton, Md., and Wayne Hamilton of Newport News, Va.; sisters, Elaine Shorts of Newport News, Va., Pauline Marine of Preston, Md., Carol Smith of Federalsburg, Md., and Dawn Linton of Hurlock, Md.; and grandchildren, Heather Robinson, Erika Robinson, Mikayla Freck, Karli Freck, and Chloe Freck. Remembrance Services will be 1 p.m. Wed., Aug. 26, 2009 at Trader Funeral Home, Dover. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover. Friends may also call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wed., Aug. 26, 2009 at the Trader Funeral Home. The family request that memorial contributions be given to the American Cancer Society, 92 Read's Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
