Delmer Ray Moore, 71

DOVER - Delmer Ray Moore, of Dover, passed away Dec. 30, 2008, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital. He was 71. Born Feb. 24, 1937, in Ester, Mo., to the late Clarence and Opal Moore. Mr. Moore retired from AT&T and enjoyed his family, sprint car racing, and traveling in his motor home. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Louise Moore of Dover; a son, Mark A. Moore of Frederica; two daughters, Deborah A. Bednarcik, California, Md., and Melissa A. Taylor, of Magnolia; four grandchildren, Jennifer A. Bednarcik, Raymond S. Bednarcik IV, Michelle A. Taylor and Anthony M. Taylor; six brothers, Howard Moore of Union, Mo., Carol Moore of Pevely, Mo., Larry Moore of Brooksville, Fla., Dick Moore of Dade City, Fla., Butch Moore of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Jerry Moore of Farmington, Mo.; two sisters, Dean Radford of Viburnum, Mo., and Shirley Wills of Farmington, Mo. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be held noon Friday at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St., Dover. Friends may also call Friday one hour before the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to the Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
