Debra 'Debi' L. Diaz, 56 CAMDEN - Debra "Debi" L. Diaz, of Camden, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Kent General Hospital. She was 56. Debi was born Feb. 21, 1954, in Denver, Colo., to the late Arthur R. Berwald and Helen Lewis Berwald. She had worked for King Cole as an electrician for 6 years and then at Wal-mart as cashier and manager for 11 years. Debi was a devout Pentecostal and very religious. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. There was no limit to her kindness and generosity. Debi is survived by her sons, James Timbs, IV of Orlando, Fla., Daniel Timbs and Jerry Diaz, both of Camden; daughter, Glenda Krause and her husband Bryan of Camden; brother, Douglas Berwald of Camden; sister, Barbara Santiago of Smyrna; grandchildren, Christian Timbs, Bryan Krouse, Jr. and Aurora Krause; niece, Amy Davis; and nephews, Mike Santiago, Jr. and Tony Santiago. Debi will always be remembered as a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. May her soul rest in peace in God's Kingdom. Funeral services will be 7 p.m., Thursday, May 6, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Del-One, in care of Glenda Krause, 225 Saulsbury Rd., Dover, DE 19904 in trust for Jerry Diaz. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
