Campbell, 85 CHESTERTOWN, MD. - Davidson L. "Dave"' Campbell died on Thurs., March 21, 2013 at Chester River Hospital Center in Chestertown, Md. He was born in Lachine, Quebec near Montreal on Jun. 7, 1927 the son of the late S. Ross and Marion Goldsworth Campbell. He was a graduate of Lachine High School and went to work with Bell of Canada Telephone Company and later transferred to C & P Telephone in Maryland. Mr. Campbell's career spanned 42 years and saw him retire as First Line Foreman in 1989. He was married to Peggy Campbell for 41 years. Mr. Campbell also worked with J & P Sporting Clays in Sudlersville and drove for the Queen Anne's County Department of Aging during his retirement. He was a member of the NRA, the Order of St. Vincent, St. Aidan's Anglican Church, and the Communication Workers of America. He enjoyed shooting black powder, bicycling, and hunting during his younger years. Mr. Campbell was predeceased by a son, Charlie Campbell who died July 2009 along with two sisters, Margery Fisher and Heather Seybold. He is survived by his two daughters, Kathy Campbell of Chestertown, Md. and Tina Cohey of Chestertown, Md.; two sons, Colin "Fang" Campbell of Church Hill, Md. and Scott Campbell of Church Hill, Md.; a special friend, Louise Puckett of Church Hill, Md. and her family Wanda, Paul, Chance, and Chase Porter. Services will be held on Thurs., Mar. 28, 2013 at 12 p.m. at St. Aidan's, meeting at Trinity Church, 101 Greenwood Ave. Chestertown, MD where relatives and friends may call one hour prior (11 a.m. - 12 p.m.). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Aidan's Church 101 Greenwood Ave. Chestertown, MD 21620 or Chestertown Nursing and Rehab 415 Morgnec Road Chestertown, MD 21620.
