GEORGETOWN - David Wayne Heck, age 44, of Georgetown, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Mr. Heck was born Dec. 22, 1966, to Lora M. (Wilson) Heck and the late Charles M. Heck. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph E. Heck. He loved his family, hunting, NASCAR and was a Dallas Cowboy's football fan. He is survived by his wife, Ashley; and three young children, Tiffany, Jennifer and Robert; three brothers, Ray and wife Jackie, Kenny and wife Bobbi, all of Georgetown, Charles and wife Barkley, of Dagsboro; a sister, Mary Ann and husband Roy of Laurel; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 3 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
