WYOMING - David Richard Kaskeski of Wyoming died Tuesday, May 8, 2007, peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was 55.

He was born Jan. 13, 1952, in Southington, Conn.

David was a member of the teamsters union and had worked as a long distance car carrier driver.

He was a guitar enthusiast and member of the Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum. He enjoyed photography.

David will fondly be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, "softball dad" and "supporter of dance."

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Pamela Kaskeski; two children, Loren Kaskeski and Leah Kaskeski; his mother, Angela Kaskeski of Camden; his grandmother, Linda Poggio "Nonnie" of Dover; his siblings, Scott Kaskeski and his wife Pam of Pontoon Beach, Ill., Gary Kaskeski, Linda Kaskeski and Diane Kaskeski, all of Camden, Susan Pearce of Camden, and Pat and Gordon Burrows of Wilmington; his nieces and nephews, Sarah and Sam Burrow, Kristin and Scott Jr. Kaskeski, Meagan Dean, Dylan and Carly Knox and Breanna Bogard; and his mother-in-law, Jean Hunt of Dover.

His life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 7 p.m. Friday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call from 5:30 p.m. until service time.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Friends of Dave Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 499, Camden-Wyoming, DE 19934.
