DOVER - David Paitsel, Sr. passed away at home.
David was born Oct. 19, 1959 in Goldsboro, N.C. to the late Claude E. Paitsel, Jr. and Phyllis Irene Fleece Paitsel.
He worked as a commercial painter for Corfu Contractors for many years and did residential painting on the side. David enjoyed time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Cheryl Jean Paitsel; and his step father, Thomas Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Brianne Johnson Paitsel; his daughter, Crystal Bowens of Demorest, Ga.; sons, David Paistel, Jr. of Magnolia, and Chace Paistel of Dover; brothers, Claude E. Paitsel, III of Magnolia, Sidney Z. Paitsel (Susan) of Frederica, Roger W. Paitsel (Marylou) of Wyoming and Billy Jo Paitsel of Magnolia; sister, Tonya Inge (Paul) of Magnolia; grandchildren, Adrian, Aveon, Albre, Anea, Jay, Asia, Destini, David, Nova and Alize'.
Funeral services will be held 6 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904 to help defray funeral expenses.
