SMYRNA - David C. Bailey passed away on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. David was an auto body technician for many years who always had a passion for sharp cars. He also started and ran a successful business known as A Touch of Primitive with his wife at the time, Juanita Bailey. He loved Harley Davidsons, country music, and antiques. He always had an eye for anything unique. David also had a passion for animals, especially his dogs and birds. David is survived by his daughters, Brittney Bailey, of Townsend; Courtney Bailey, of Albion, Ill.; his grandson, Kentley Wyatt Bailey, of Albion, Ill.; and his parents, Larry and Barbara Bailey, of Smyrna; he is also survived by Juanita Bailey, of Albion, Ill.; Debbie Bailey, of Smyrna; and his two beloved dogs, Ginger and Rusty. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 6 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to a charity of your choice. To send a letter of condolence, visit www.matthewsbryson.com.
