Clifford 'Butch'Morris, 63

DOVER - Clifford "Butch" Morris, of Dover, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, in Harbor Health Care, Lewes. He was 63.

Clifford was born Dec. 27, 1944, in Magnolia, to the late Millie Morris.

He was employed by Delaware Home for the Chronically Ill for 24 years as a laundry worker before retiring.

He loved music.

Clifford also enjoyed watching boxing and wrestling.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah (Tate) Morris; two sons, Clifford "Snowball" Tate and Franklin Morris; one brother, Earl Morris; three sisters, including Lorraine Hicks; an uncle who was thought of as a brother, Paul Caldwell Jr.; cousins, Mildred and Tom, Minnie and family, Roland Ridgway and Sherman Morris; a very special brother-in-law, Ray Tate and wife Margaret and their four sons and daughter; a small friend, Cazmere, who made him laugh by calling him, "Bits"; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Viewing and funeral services will be private.

Instead of flowers, send contributions to Capital Baptist Church, 401 Kesselring Ave., Dover, DE 19901.

Condolences can be sent to 1506 W. State College Road, Dover, DE 19901.
