Clarence E. "Nub" Williamson

NANTICOKE, Md. - Clarence E. "Nub" Williamson of Nanticoke died Friday, July 27, 2007, in Coastal Hospice at the Lake, Salisbury. He was 83.

Mr. Williamson was born Oct. 8, 1923, in Greenwood, son of the late Grey and Emma Williamson.

He worked for Delaware Highway Department as a mechanic for many years.

Mr. Williamson would donate his time for charity work; he especially enjoyed picking-up donations for the thrift store. He was a private man who would spend his time tinkering on stuff around the house or you would see him riding his lawn mower.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Doris Lingo Williamson; a stepson, Douglas Milner of Seaford; five sisters, Gladys Yeako of Long Neck, Louise Thomas of Bridgeville, Doris Kates of Harrington, Betty Hammond of Harrington and June Roe of Milford.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday in St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
