SMYRNA - Clarence E. Foraker, 73, of Smyrna, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2013. Mr. Foraker was a resident of Smyrna for 45 years. He retired from the State of Delaware after 30 years where he had worked as a state surveyor. In life he was an avid hunter, loved country music, and oldies, especially Elvis and Hank Williams, Sr. He was also a lifelong Phillies fan. Clarence is survived by his wife of 51 years, Inga Foraker; two sons, Chris (Karen) and David (Becky); two grandchildren; Matthew and Kimberly. His sisters, Delores Budd of Clayton, Louise Pacelt of Oquawka, Ill., Pauline Cahall of Clayton, Irene Coleman of Hartly; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Randolph "Reds" Foraker, Elwood "Tommy" Foraker, and Howard "Ricky" Foraker. Services will be 11 a.m.,, Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC. Visitation will be Thursday. Nov. 14, 2013, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m at the funeral home.
