GREENSBORO, Md. - Clare N. Easter, of Greensboro, died Saturday, May 16, 2009, at home. She was 97. She was born Oct. 23, 1911, in Philadelphia to the late Henry Jacob and Henrietta Gunnell Neebe. Mrs. Easter was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Dr. James Hamilton Easter of Dover, Del., and James Henry Easter of Greensboro; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hamilton Easter who died on July 13, 2007. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 22 at the Graveside in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville. Memorial contributions may be made to Greensboro Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 307, Greensboro, MD 21639. Arrangements by Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro. Condolences may be sent via www.fleegleandhelfenbein.com.
